GO FRESH! – Generating Opportunities to Focus on the Right Eating Solutions for Our Health

Youth Exchange

Botosani, Romania, 6th-14th July 2013 ()

Healthy lifestyle and nutrition was the main focus of this youth exchange which brought together young people from 6 countries (Romania, Ukraine, Republic of Moldova, UK, Italy and Turkey).

Act Global were involved in a fun youth exchange project about healthy eating and green lifestyle, which was organised by our Romanian partner B-Right Media in Botosani – Romania, July 2013.

The aim of the project was to promote the young people’s active citizenship through intercultural activities that help them find their own solution to a general European concern.

During the project, participants were involved in cooking, sharing knowledge about healthy living, cultural evenings, visits to the organic farms and local Romanian houses in the village and we also did a flash mob which ended up with giving out fresh lemonade for the public.

The project venue was Botosani – a city in the Northeast of Romania, which is famous for its culture: the best Romanian poet, painter, historian and musician were born here. The town is the green capital of the country, a place with lots of parks and green spaces, where history and modernism live together, as the visitor will discover old buildings as well as newly-built offices and shopping centres.
