Dance at the other side of the world
2nd month , + 2kg. I been enjoying Bali a lot. This month i decided to try most of the local food in here. Nasi Goreng Ayam, Mie Ayam, Tami Goreng, Lalapan, Tempe, Tahu, Babi Guling, Ayam Betutu, pisang Goreng Coklat Keju, and my favorite Juice Mangga. This was the menu during last month and i already got some of my favourite stuff, but of course i couldnt avoid the consequences… gaining weight here is the daily routine 🙂
Balinese people says „ if u get fat in Bali, it means that u r happy „ well i guess its true 🙂 coz not only food is great here. I met a lot of new people with who i enjoy my time. They been showing me around the real/local life in here which is not that easy.. we can see the struggle on the streets, but the good thing is that they can find happines in the smallest things so they r enjoying their lifes anyway. Thanks to the sun and the beautiful landscapes, how u can not be happy living in such a beautilf envoirment. In the middle of the month we went to the Gili Island for the weekend, which as really fun. Trip by boat takes about 2h to get there and u can enjoy beautiful views and do snorekling the whole day heh. Well enough about the fun part, time to talk a lil bit about work.
In November there i was a part of colaboration during the dance show organised by the french group Piramide who was working with the local dance crew called Aerial crew. Those guys came from France to do a dance show and perform infront of kids from the Orphenage, and another local kids. 3 days and nights of hard rehelsals just to share our passion – dance. It was really nice to show to European how do we appadpt here in the local life. We were eating Ikan in the famous seafood restaurant in Jimbaran, talkin and just enjoying time together.
Another thing, Me, Assil and Natalia were working on the video, trying to show to outside people how our acitivities looks here. We were recording some parts in the highschool while teaching and another part just in some random places like Beachwalk ( shoping center). It turned out really good and we had so much fun doin it 🙂 i will put the link below :
